Hidden from the road above, the residence nestles itself against a steep hillside, affording unobstructed and sweeping bay views from the main floor. While the views command the most attention, the entrance was a hodge-podge collection of wooden staircases and overgrown vegetation. While working for Pedersen Associates, Mike led the design and oversaw the construction for the creation of this outdoor living room. A water feature acts as your guide from the main road. Crossing the water feature, you’re led to the outdoor living room, which is centered around a large stone fireplace and a grill buffet counter off to the side. Boulders found nearby were strategically placed to provide support for the hill and form the water feature.
